Why are we giving back, and why now?
From Gloria at Glow Up Web Design
Glow Up has always been about helping business owners get the most out of their web presence. We believe everyone deserves a website that not only looks great, but truly works for them. We love what we do—but of course, we can’t do it for free… at least not for every project. As much as we wish we could. 😉
That said, this February is special.
February 2026 marks Glow Up Web Design’s 5-year anniversary. And after calling Ohio home for the past 3.5 years, it feels like the perfect moment to give back to the community that has given us so much.

In a relatively short amount of time, I’ve met so many amazing people here. Some have become lifelong friends, others I’ve worked with professionally through big and small businesses, and many are aspiring entrepreneurs. Every single one of them has something in common—they’re kind, genuine, and deeply care about others.
Since moving to Ohio, life has been full of big milestones—both professionally and personally. We bought our first home in Medina, rebranded from UX Aglow to Glow Up Web Design, LLC, became first-time cat parents, and welcomed our first child in September 2025. That’s a lot of change in a short amount of time. I truly thought I’d feel alone navigating all of it in a new place—but I couldn’t have been more wrong. The support we received was overwhelming and incredibly heartwarming.

During this chapter, two local nonprofits touched my heart in a very personal way:

Mission Possible Animal Hospital
They provided spay and neuter services for our cats Gizmo and Luna at an incredibly affordable price, without compromising quality or care. Their staff was kind, knowledgeable, and clearly driven by a mission to help as many animals as possible—so fewer pets end up on the streets.

Oasis of Hope
They offered invaluable classes and resources to us on childbirth, C-sections, and breastfeeding. After completing the classes, they provided us with tickets to shop for baby essentials, gave us a tour of their space, and showed us firsthand how they support women seeking help with pregnancy and parenting—no matter their situation.
Both nonprofits provide life-changing services with compassion and heart. They focus on their mission more than anything. And that’s exactly why I believe they deserve recognition and a website glow up.
So, with Glow Up turning 5, a strong Medina community behind us, and me not being pregnant this year—what better time to donate a full website makeover to a local nonprofit?

Now it’s your turn to help us decide who receives it this year. 💛 And please don't forget to check back on who won and how it turns out!
