Why are we giving back, and why now?

Glow Up has always been about helping business owners get the most out of their web presence. We believe everyone deserves a website that not only looks great, but truly works for them. We love what we do—but of course, we can’t do it for free… at least not for every project. As much as we wish we could. 😉​​

That said, this year is special.

February 2026 marks Glow Up Web Design’s 5-year anniversary. And after calling Ohio home for the past 3.5 years, it feels like the perfect moment to give back to the community that has given us so much.

In a relatively short amount of time, I’ve met so many amazing people here. Some have become lifelong friends, others I’ve worked with professionally through big and small businesses, and many are aspiring entrepreneurs. Every single one of them has something in common—they’re kind, genuine, and deeply care about others.

Since moving to Ohio, life has been full of big milestones—both professionally and personally. We bought our first home in Medina, rebranded from UX Aglow to Glow Up Web Design, LLC, became first-time cat parents, and welcomed our first child in September 2025. That’s a lot of change in a short amount of time. I truly thought I’d feel alone navigating all of it in a new place—but I couldn’t have been more wrong. The support we received was overwhelming and incredibly heartwarming.​

 

So, with Glow Up turning 5, a strong Medina community behind us, and me not being pregnant this year—what better time to donate a full website makeover to a local business? 💛

Who Should Apply

This giveaway is designed for Medina-area small businesses that are ready to strengthen their online presence and grow.

  • Have been in business for at least 1 year

  • Serve customers in Medina or surrounding communities

  • Have an outdated website or no website at all

  • Applicants should have an active business presence on social media.

  • Are passionate about your business and ready to grow

  • Are willing to pay for your domain registration, and Wix hosting.

  • Are willing to provide photos, videos and branding assets.

Downtown Medina Ohio

  • Are willing to collaborate with us on content and feedback during the design process

 

​We’re especially excited to work with a business that is doing great work in the community but could benefit from a stronger online presence.

Submit Your Application

Fill out our waitlist and tell us about your business, what you do, and why a new website would help you grow. Make sure to select "Medina Giveaway" under "How did you hear about us", and make sure to subscribe to our newsletter. 

Giveaway Timeline

  • Applications close: March 31, 2026

  • Finalists announced: April 7 at 6:00 PM EST on our Facebook and Instagram pages

  • Community voting: If two finalists are selected, the community will help vote for the business most deserving of the website glow up.
