Burning Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
Web Design
We wish there were a one-size-fits-all answer, but timelines can vary depending on a few factors—such as the complexity of your website, communication speed, availability on both sides, and the time of year. Our designers typically work on multiple projects at once, but when everything aligns, here’s a general timeline you can expect:
• Landing page: a couple to a few weeks
• One-page website: a few weeks to about one month
• 5-page website: approximately 1–2 months
• 10-page website: approximately 2–4 months
• More complex or custom projects: 3+ months
When we take on a project, we always ask about your desired launch date. We won’t move forward unless we’re confident we can deliver on time.
Why timelines may vary:
• Trust the process: At Glow Up Web Design, we don’t believe in rushing. A strong, effective website takes time to do right. We follow a proven process designed to give small business owners a real competitive edge in their industry.
• Communication speed: We guarantee responses within two business days (excluding holidays). While we don’t expect the same turnaround from you, delays in approvals or feedback can pause progress, as we can’t move forward without your confirmation.
Our goal is always to deliver a website you’re proud of—on time and done right.
Glow Up Web Design works with small to medium-sized businesses and startups across a wide range of industries. We don’t limit ourselves to a single niche—our curiosity is what drives us, and we genuinely love learning about each client’s business.
To make smart, strategic decisions, we put ourselves in the shoes of your target audience. This allows us to create intuitive, memorable experiences that aren’t just beautiful, but also designed to increase conversions.
Our clients are typically just as passionate about their work as we are about ours. You don’t need to have everything figured out—brainstorming is part of the process, and we’re always happy to help guide you in the right direction.
It’s never too early to start the conversation. While we’re not business coaches, we’re always happy to chat about what’s possible and how a website can support your goals—even if you’re still in the idea phase.
If you find that you need additional help developing a plan or clarifying your direction, we can also point you to our trusted business coach, Sue Mohr from T(https://www.theinnervizion.com/)he Inner Vizion,(https://www.theinnervizion.com/) for deeper strategy and guidance.
You don’t need much to get started with Glow Up Web Design—having a general understanding of your business goals is enough to begin the process.
If you’re a planner and want a head start, our designers are always excited when clients already know what they want to showcase on their website. Having draft text, images, or other content ready is incredibly helpful and allows us to move faster once the project begins.
Don’t have a logo or branding yet? No problem—we can absolutely help with that too.
For redesign projects, the first thing we’ll ask is what’s currently working and what isn’t. If you can identify what should be removed, what should stay, and what your new goals are for the site, that’s more than enough for us to hit the ground running.
Graphic Design
Our designers create a wide range of logo styles to fit your brand’s personality and goals. At Glow Up, user experience is always at the heart of what we do—logo and branding included.
We carefully consider how and where your logo will be used, paying close attention to detail, scalability, and clarity across all placements. From full-detail designs to simplified variations, we ensure your logo looks great everywhere it appears.
Glow Up designs memorable logos your customers can’t forget—and can’t ignore. 🤩
All you need to get started is your business name, an optional tagline, and a few inspiration examples you love. Once the project begins, we’ll also send you a brief questionnaire to better understand your brand, vision, and goals.
A logo is a single visual element—your brand’s symbol or mark. Branding, on the other hand, is the complete look, feel, and personality of your business. It includes your logo, colors, fonts, tone of voice, and the overall experience customers have when interacting with your brand.
If you’re doing branding with Glow Up, we’ll make sure you receive a full set of logo variations alongside your primary logo. That way, no matter where your logo is displayed, your brand always fits, stays consistent, and stands out. ✨
